Fighter Support

The Parkinson's Exercise and Wellness Center is more than a gym. We are a tight-knit community of fighters, family and friends who are living through a shared experience. By becoming a Member of The PEWC, you’ll have access to classes and support groups for fighters and care partners. Our members have forged strong friendships and long-lasting support.

PEWC Membership

The first step to joining our PEWC community is to become a member! Membership opens the door for multiple class options, social gatherings, wellness events, Occupational Training sessions, care partner groups and more.

You are not alone in your Parkinson's journey! A big part of becoming a member of The PEWC is joining Fighter Fellowship. This group provides an opportunity for fighters to share personal experiences, feelings, coping strategies, and more. Coffee and light snacks are provided.

Meeting times vary. After becoming a member, fighters are assigned a convenient location that is near their home address.

Fighter Fellowship

Socializing plays an important role in the PD fight. The PEWC offers ongoing opportunities for members to participate in monthly social events, holiday parties, themed get-togethers, Bingo nights, chili cookoffs…we love to have fun here!

Social Events

“The PEWC provides a world class exercise curriculum targeted to the tightness, rigidity and small movements that are inherent to Parkinson's. PEWC isn’t just an exercise group but a specialized exercise group with targeted exercises and super expert instructors."

-Jim Dugan
