PD Partners
Finding a community that understands the PD journey is invaluable. Our support groups are designed to offer both Fighters and care partners a safe and compassionate space to share experiences, find encouragement, and build lasting connections.
PD Partners
PD Partners is our care partner support group. It is open to anyone who has a loved one living with Parkinson's disease. You play a crucial role in the life of your fighter, providing both physical and emotional support. Your journey is often complex and challenging and this group will offer a place to exchange valuable insights, and be a source of strength and inspiration as you face daily challenges.
All group meetings take place at The PEWC:
Care partners whose fighters attend Level 1-2 classes meet on the second Friday of each month at 11:30 a.m.
Care partners whose fighters attend Level 3-4 classes meet on the first Monday of each month at 1:30 a.m.
PD Related Dementia Support Group
This support group is meant to provide both you and your fighter with tools and techniques to manage more significant cognitive changes due to Parkinson's related dementias. Fighters and care partners will meet at the same time but in different spaces. You do not have to come as a pair to attend the meetings.
This weekly group meets on the third Tuesday of the month, from 2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
